Christina M. Wimbley is a graduate of Dillard University where she was on the Dean’s List and inducted into the Delta Eta Sigma chapter of Alpha Kappa Mu Honor Society. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in English, Christina worked as a clerk at the New Orleans Criminal District Court. She later received her Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center where she was a staff writer for the Law Center’s publication The Public Defender, member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and American Inns of Court. Christina was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in 2008, and admitted to the Federal Bar for the Western District of Tennessee and the Western District of Louisiana in 2014.
Christina M. Wimbley has interned for U.S. Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX - 30) in Washington, DC. She has also worked as a solo practitioner, an Assistant Prosecutor and Assistant City Attorney for the City of Shreveport, and has taught courses in criminology and judicial process as an adjunct professor at Southern University at Shreveport, Louisiana.
